Nuclear Waste Program, Ecology

Government - State

Hanford Cleanup is difficult and expensive. It is critical that the public understands cleanup issues, risks, and timelines. Some contamination gets to the Columbia now, more may reach the river later. While efforts are underway to slow the spread of contamination, public participation is important to keeping cleanup and funding on track.
