Students for Salmon Elementary Program
The Students for Salmon program provides hands-on outdoor science experiences to students in grades 4-6. Lessons from the SFS Teacher Handbook focus on watersheds, salmon ecology, and habitat restoration while the program culminates with an NSEA-led student stream exploration at the school's local Whatcom County creek!

Students learn the basics of salmon ecology and watershed stewardship through hands-on inquiry science at their local creek. Participants also get a chance to turn knowledge into action through stream habitat restoration projects in Whatcom County!
